Troublemakers can be banned from Carlton Avenue for up to 48 hours this weekend

slapped a dispersal order on a Saltney Street this weekend following rowdy behaviour sparking complaints from fed up neighbours.

The order enables officers to ban troublemakers from Carlton Avenue for up to 48 hours.

It will last from 8pm tonight until Sunday 7am and follows complaints from neighbours over drinking in the streets and noisy behaviour.

PCSO Dan Hughes tweeted: “Dispersal order in place for Carlton Avenue, over the weekend,to tackle individuals committing, or likely to commit anti-social behaviour.”

A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: “There have been complaints from local residents over anti-social behaviour involving noise and drinking in the streets.

“As a result a dispersal order has been placed on Carlton Avenue which runs from tonight until Sunday morning.

“Police are working with local residents and the council over this issue.”
