A 44-year-old man has been charged with assault after emergency services responded to a “serious incident” in the Rhondda .
Specialist resources were sent to the scene, in Heol Mair, Penrhys, Tylorstown, just after 7.30pm on Friday evening.
A man was taken to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff following the alleged assault.
On Sunday afternoon, a South Wales Police spokeswoman said: “We went to reports of an assault at 7.37pm. One male was conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
“A 44-year-old male has been arrested and has been charged with assault.”
