FIREFIGHTERS tackled a deliberately ignited car fire in the early hours of this morning.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called at 2.40am to Greenbank Street in Hightown after a car was deliberately set alight.
Two crews from Wrexham were sent to tackle the blaze, where they used one hose reel jet and one breathing apparatus to deal with the fire.
The car suffered from 75 per cent fire and heat damage and there was some slight damage to the fascia board of the house, but nobody was injured during the incident.
