A TOWYN man who invited two friends to his home ended up assaulting them.
One of them suffered a fractured jaw, Mold Crown Court was later.
Later the home of Ian Jorgensen was searched and cannabis was found in the freezer.
At Mold Crown Court Jorgensen was jailed for two years after he admitted GBH, ABH and possessing the class B drug with intent to supply.
The judge, Mr Recorder Timothy Petts, said that in May of last year he invited the complainants as friends to his flat but during a disagreement he assaulted them in drink.
One was left with difficulty eating.
A short time later police found frozen cannabis at his home which he admitted intending to supply.
Jonathan Austin, prosecuting, told how one of the victims suffered a significant injury.
He could not close his jaw properly and it was found that the lower left side was fractured.
Three plates were inserted during surgery and he had difficulty eating for some time.
The defendant initially claimed that he had acted in self defence.
In June, police searched his home in South Parade, Towyn, Abergele, and found frozen herbal cannabis in the fridge.
It was estimated that the total street value of the drugs was about £1,500.
Simon Rogers, defending, said that his client deserved credit for his guilty pleas.
