A burglar used a BMW bike as his get away vehicle, a court has heard.

Steven Hill, 34, has admitted targeting three properties - one of them twice - and stealing a TV, a child's money box and jewellery

Steven Hill, 34, used the small black and pink BMX to flee the scene when committed three daytime house burglaries – two of them at the same property.
A child's money box, a television and jewellery were among the items he snatched.
A court heard he struck at the same house on two occasions – on the second stealing some of the items that had been replaced after the first.
The BMX was seen by witnesses at the time of the burglaries.
He was also seen to be riding it and was later picked out during an identification procedure.

Stolen property found

When Hill was arrested stolen property was found at his home – including some hidden in the loft.
And police officers also recovered the BMX that had been used to carry away some of the property.
Hill, of Lon Celyn in Connah’s Quay , made his first court appearance today and admitted burglary at a house in Holly Grange, Connah’s Quay, on March 14 this year where property valued at £3,000 was taken.
He admitted a further two burglaries at another property in Holly Grange on February 2 and March 13.
In the first he got away with a 32-inch television, jewellery, perfume and a child’s money box containing about £80 in cash.
But during the second he stole property valued at £2,000 including a laptop computer, a sat nav, watches and jewellery and cash.
Prosecutor Rhian Jackson told how some of the property stolen had been replaced after the first.

Sentencing

At Flintshire magistrates’ court at Mold he was remanded in custody to appear at Mold Crown Court for sentence next month.
Arrested on Tuesday of this week, Hill in interview denied the burglaries and claimed he had bought the property off a man he would not name.
He said he bought and sold items through Facebook including Flintshire Flog It and Deeside Sellers and that was how he made his money.
