A nursery owner told how a car that smashed into their wall was the second to hit it in six weeks.
On Tuesday an overturned vehicle forced police to close Brompton Avenue, in Rhos-on-Sea , near to the first Steps Nursery, crashing into its wall at around 10.15am and knocking bricks onto the pavement.
Becky Nicholson, owner and manager, said another car had crashed into the nursery wall six weeks ago causing thousands of pounds of damage.
She said: “In the latest crash, a car had overturned. It was on its roof.
“We went outside and two people were getting out the window, a girl and a boy.
“The boy seemed okay, but the girl was more traumatised, so we called an ambulance and got them blankets to keep them warm.
“The wall was damaged by the car in the accident.
“Six weeks ago there was another crash where a car hit the wall shattering glass everywhere, damaging the wall, chippings on the car park and to my car costing thousands.
“I think the road needs looking at.”
Following the latest crash a Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed that a man and a woman escaped unharmed.
“We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance to the scene, where a male and a female were given a precautionary check-up but did not travel to hospital,” she said.
The accident happened near to the Hickory’s restaurant.
