Forensics teams sealed off Rhyl bus station last night after a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Commuters described the drama as police raced to the scene just after 8.15pm.
Some suggested a man had been beaten up and hit his head on the ground.
The Daily Post has been unable to reach North Wales Police to obtain any further information this morning.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called shortly before 8.15pm last night, Tuesday 22 March, to reports a man was injured on Bodfor Street in Rhyl.
“We sent a paramedic in a rapid response car and a crew in an emergency ambulance to the scene, and the man was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with serious injuries.”
