A DRUG dealer who tried to smuggle cocaine into a nightclub in his underpants has been jailed.
Swansea Crown Court heard Martyn Anquetil-Kirby tried to take the coke into the city's Idols club on Wind Street but was caught by police who were conducting a drugs operation on the door.
He was found to have wraps of cocaine hidden in his underwear, and when police searched his house in the Afan Valley they found more of the Class A drug along with weighting scales and plastic bags, and wraps of diazepam.
His mobile phones also contained text messages relating to drug deals.

Brian Simpson, for the prosecution, said the underpants stash was discovered by police as they were conducting a routine "swab test" of people going into Idols on November 21.
The court heard Anquetil-Kirby was seen acting suspiciously in the queue for the club, and putting his hand down his trousers.
A swab of the 28-year-old's hands tested positive for cocaine and he as taken into the VIP area of the club and searched. The officers found wraps of the drug in his pants.
The total amount of cocaine seized from his underwear and his house came to almost 52grams.
Anquetil-Kirby, of Penllyn, Cwmavon, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine between May and November last year, to possessing cocaine with intent to supply and to possessing diazepam when he appeared in the dock.
The court heard he had a "significant" cocaine habit at the time, and had turned to dealing to fund his own consumption.

James Hartson, for Anquetil-Kirby, said his client had a good job and was "not the typical" kind of defendant the courts saw for dealing offences.
He said the defendant was a useful member of society and was well thought of.
Judge Tom Crowther QC told Anquetil-Kirby he had been "extremely stupid" to embark on drug dealing, adding: "You took a risk — and you lost".
The judge said the court had to send out a clear message to other people who might be tempted to deal drugs, and he sentenced Anquetil-Kirby to two years and four months for the dealing offences and to eight months for the possession of diazepam, both sentences to run concurrently.
