Dead man, named locally as Phillip Cleary, discovered in Hammond Court

A man has died after being found collapsed in Rhyl .
The 32-year-old, named locally as Phillip Cleary was discovered in Hammond Court just after 7.15pm on Sunday night.
An ambulance was called and he was rushed to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd where he was pronounced 
dead.
Police are treating the incident as “unexplained.”
Earlier this morning, eye witnesses described the drama as police officers cordoned off a pathway that runs between Hammond Court and Woodside Gardens.
North Wales Police spokeswoman said: “Police received a report an incident in Hammond Court in Rhyl at around 7.15pm on Sunday March 20. On arrival at the scene a man in his thirties was found collapsed
“An ambulance was called and he was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, where sadly he later died.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and the coroner has been informed.”
Meanwhile, tributes have poured in to the former Rhyl High School pupil on Facebook with scores of messaged posted on his wall.
One friend wrote: “Never in a million years thought I’d be saying this let alone this morning, RIP Phill Cleary we had some great laughs over the years and never saw you without a smile. Hope you’ve gone to a better place pal. Thoughts are with all your family.”
Another said: “Honoured to have you as a friend growing up and honoured to have known you at all. RIP Phill Cleary you will be sadly missed by so many god bless mate.”
A message was also posted in the Rhyl People Past and Present Group which said: “Our thoughts and condolences go out today to all the family and friends of a much loved local Phill Cleary. RIP Phill you will be much missed by all who knew you. From all of us here at Rhyl people past and present xxx”
Inspector Iwan Roberts said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have information which could assist our investigation to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number U040262.”
