A former Bangor City FC press officer charged with child sex offences has been one the run from the police for nearly four months.
David Daniel Hayes , 38, last appeared in court on November 24.
Hayes, who was on bail, failed to appear at Mold Crown Court on December 18 to enter a plea on five charges involving child sex offences, including raping a child.
He also failed to appear at magistrates’ court earlier the same week.
The Daily Post understands he would have faced more child sex offences at that hearing.
An arrest warrant was issued by Judge Rhys Rowlands in December, and North Wales Police have confirmed it is still outstanding nearly four months on.
No public appeal to trace Hayes has been made by the force.
Hayes, who previously lived in Anglesey and Gwynedd but gave a Llanrwst address in court, is accused of carrying out a number of sex offences against a girl under the age of 13.
Hayes was charged by police on September 3, and his trial had been set for January 18 this year.
He is yet to indicate a plea.
North Wales Police have been asked what efforts are being made to apprehend Hayes and whether they are working with other police forces to try to find him.
