Police are hunting a man who approached a young girl in a Flintshire village and asked her to leave with him.
The 10-year-old was targeted at around 3.45pm yesterday (March 16) as she was walking past a bus stop on Park Avenue, Mynydd Isa .
Officers says the man, believed to be in his 40s, put his hand on her shoulder and asked her to come away with him, according to North Wales Police .
Inspector Jonathan Bowcott said: “The child shouted for help and ran away unharmed.
“The suspect is described as white with a pale complexion, approximately 40 years old, 5ft 7ins tall and of medium build.
“He was wearing a cream jumper over a blue top, black shoes and had a gold ring on one of his hands. He was also carrying an orange plastic bag crunched into a ball.
“I would ask anyone with information or who may have seen a male matching the description in the area of Park Avenue, Mynydd Isa, to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting event reference RC16038076.”
