A family has been left devastated after their beloved pet dog was stolen from the front garden of their Wrexham home.
Three-year-old Deva, a black Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was taken between 5.45pm and 6.15pm on Saturday (March 19).
She had been sat in her usual spot in the front garden of the property on Deva Way in Caia Park.
Her owner Weronika Dudek, along with her partner, has scoured the local area but to no avail.
The mum-of-three bought Deva, who has a distinctive white chest, when she was just eight weeks old.
'She's our family'
Weronika told the Daily Post: “I let him out into the front garden, he loves to sit out there and he jumps up on the fence to say hello to everyone.
“When I looked out of the window with my little girl she was sitting in the corner. Then my partner came home from the shops with my other daughter about 10 minutes later.
“I said to him to let the dog back in and he said she’s not there. Straight away we went to look for her. We’ve put up posters everywhere.
“My partner and I walked all over Caia Park – we walked literally everywhere looking for her. I know what my dog is like.
“If she was to get out she would run up to people. If she got out then someone must have seen her. That’s why I think someone has taken her.
“I would ask people to keep an eye out for her, she may be close. To other people she’s just a dog, but to us she’s our family.
“I have two daughters and a son and they love her. My little girl is constantly going over to the window and shouting her name.”
