A MAN charged with robbing a Wrexham bookmakers has appeared in court.

Andrew Dodman, 51, of no fixed abode, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Friday charged with stealing £600 from the Corbett Bookmakers on Park Avenue, Acton, Wrexham on March 10.

He was also charged with stealing £12,000 from Colliery Road, Wrexham, on March 11.

His case will be heard at Mold Crown Court on April 8 and he was remanded in custody until that date.
