Swansea,South Wales - Man broke into ex-partner's house and sent abusive Facebook messages - from her son's account

Richard Honey-Jones was jailed for 40 months at Swansea Crown Court
A MAN released from custody after assaulting a nurse at Morriston Hospital broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and logged on to her son's Facebook account from a computer in the kitchen and sent her abusive messages before stealing the boy's games consoles, a court has heard.
Richard Honey-Jones was still dressed in his disposable paper custody suit when he smashed his way into the house through a kitchen windows, injuring himself and leaving a trail of blood in the Morriston property. The suit was found hidden under a cot in one of the bedrooms.

Swansea Crown Court heard that when the victim came home and found the smashed window she called police - officers were at the house when Honey-Jones returned to the scene, and they arrested him.
Ian Wright, for the prosecution, said Honey-Jones had initially been arrested at Morriston Hospital on January 23 - he had been taken to A&E suffering with the effects of a heroin overdose but had then attacked one of the nurses. He was taken to Swansea Central police station.
The following day he was released from custody and, still in the police-issued paper suit, made his way to Morriston.
He gained entry to his former-partner's house by smashing a kitchen window before changing clothes, logging onto Facebook and posting the messages and then taking PlayStation and XBox games consoles and leaving.
Honey-Jones, of Craigllwyd Road, Townhill, had previously pleaded guilty to burglary when he appeared in the dock for sentencing. The court heard he has two previous convictions for burglary - including one where he broke into an ex-partner's house armed with a kitchen knife for which he served 42 months in prison for - as well as for matters theft.
Alecs Rees, for Honey-Jones, said her client accepted he was facing a lengthy period in custody and was "looking forward to release and to living a drug-free life".
She added he wanted to offer his "sincere apologies" for what he had done.
Judge Patrick Curran QC said Honey-Jones had clearly targeted the house, adding it had been "mean" to steal the children's games consoles.
He sentenced Honey-Jones to 40 months in prison and made him the subject of an indefinite restraining order banning him from contacting his ex-partner.
The court was told the defendant had previously been sentenced to, and had served, seven days for the assault on the nurse.
