Man and woman arrested after armed police called to Llanelli street
A MAN and a woman have been arrested after armed police attended an incident at a street in Llanelli late last night.
Residents in Clos Cilsaig, Llanelli, reported seeing armed officers and a large police presence on the street throughout the early hours of this morning.
A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Police were called just after 11.35pm on Tuesday, March 1, to a report of threatening behaviour in a property in Clos Cilsaig, Llanelli.
"A 43-year-old male and a 38-year-old female were arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the incident and currently remain in police custody."
