Staff at Panteg Garage were shocked to view their CCTV footage

A CCTV camera at a Llanelli garage captured the moment an alleged burglar fell 17ft through a garage roof and knocked himself out.
Mr Jenkins said: "We were shocked when we saw the footage.
"We could see there were three people involved. In the external footage we could see them shimmy up between our garage and our neighbour's and get onto the roof.
"They had tights on their heads. Then they must have kicked a panel we had on the roof to get inside and in doing so, fallen through."
The footage shows a man falling to the garage floor and hitting the top of an internal office on the way down, knocking him out.
Mr Jenkins said: "His friends had to come and get him and take him back through the hole in the roof.
"They couldn't get out any other way as I had padlocked everything.
"They didn't manage to take anything luckily as it became more about getting him out of the building. We have had a lucky escape this time as nothing was stolen. But had he not fallen and hurt himself things could have been very different."
The business could now be hit with a bill for hundreds of pounds to replace the garage roof.
