THE windscreens of 19 cars were smashed during a "mindless vandalism" spree in Bangor.
North Wales Police said they believe all the incidents are linked.
Offices are appealing for information after the attacks which occurred during the early hours of Sunday, February 28.
The cars were all parked in the Tregarth, Glasinfryn, Bethesda and Bangor areas when the windscreen of each vehicle was smashed with an unknown object, sometime between 12.30am and 7am.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Kearney said: “We believe all the incidents are linked and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed these cars being damaged.
“We are taking this mindless vandalism extremely seriously.
"A dedicated team of officers are investigating the incidents and we are appealing to anyone who may have recorded CCTV footage covering the rural back road routes from Bangor towards these villages to contact the police quoting incident U028883.
“Enquiries are ongoing and every effort is being made to trace those responsible for causing the damage.”
Anyone who witnessed the incidents can call Bangor Police Station on 101 quoting reference U028883.
