A human foot that was found on a beach at Tal Y Foel near Dwyran has been identified as being that of Richard Thomas, who disappeared in 2013

A human foot found on an Anglesey beach belonged to missing Bangor man Richard Thomas.
The discovery was made by a member of the public on April 6 at Tal Y Foel near Dwyran.
North Wales Police have performed DNA testing on the foot and confirmed it is Richard Thomas’s, who was last seen on December 24 2013.
Mr Thomas, 47 in 2013, was reported missing from his home in the Maesgeirchen area of Bangor on December 31 2013.
A massive search operation by North Wales Police at the time failed to find him.
DCI Brian Kearney at Caernarfon CID said: “Mr Thomas’s death is not being treated as suspicious and HM Coroner for North West Wales Mr Dewi Pritchard-Jones has been notified.
“Mr Thomas’ family have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
The body part was found by a customer of the nearby Anglesey Riding Centre and reported to police.
