Police presence

There is a heavy police presence in Colwyn Bay this morning. Reports have been received of a number of officers and police vehicles having converged near to the Lidl store in the town.
It is the second time a significant police presence has built up in the area this week. On Monday, a man who runs a bookshop in Hawarden Road was slashed with a knife. It is understood that so far no-one has been apprehended over the attack.
There is, however, nothing to suggest that this current police activity is connected to that incident, but we will bring you all the updates as they come in.
