Shotton,North Wales - Trio arrested in connection with attack in Shotton released on bail

THREE people arrested in connection with an attack on a man in broad daylight have been released on bail.

The two men and woman, who were arrested on suspicion of wounding on Wednesday, have been released pending further investigations following the incident.

It comes after a man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted on North Street, Shotton at around 9am on Wednesday.

Detective Inspector Jon Salisbury Jones, of North Wales Police, said: “ I am appealing to witnesses or anyone with information about this serious incident to contact police on 101. 

“The reference number is U087643.”
