An appeal has been launched after a calf was 'bludgeoned to death' in Colwyn Bay.
North Wales Police Rural Crime Team officers tweeted at 1.35pm that a report had been received in of a calf being bludgeoned to death with a piece of wood in Colwyn Bay.
Officers attended the scene earlier today (Tuesday, June 21), in a field near Llanelian, near Colwyn Bay.
The incident is believed to have happened between lastn night (Monday, June 21) and this morning.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said enquiries are ongoing and anyone who has information can call 101 with reference number U091084.
