Wrexham,North Wales - Reports dog beaten in Wrexham prompts urgent appeal for witnesses

The RSPCA say they think that there "may have been several people who may have seen what happened”

A dog is in RSPCA care after allegedly being beaten in Wrexham .
The animal charity is appealing for witnesses to come forward after the canine was reportedly attacked on Monday June 13.
A witness called the RSPCA following the incident which happened in the Holt Road in Hillcrest at 5.30pm.
RSPCA inspector Kia Thomas, who has been investigating the claims, said: “We are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen this happen as we’d like to speak to them urgently about this.
“We are also appealing for the witness who has already called us anonymously to call us back.
“It is a busy area and we think there may have been several people who may have seen what happened.”
The RSPCA is not able to give out any further information, but says the dog has seen a vet and is expected to make a full recovery.
