Shotton,North Wales - Two arrested after 'man stabbed' in Shotton in broad daylight attack

A man and a woman have been taken into custody following a wounding attack in Westminster Crescent

A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of wounding after man was assaulted in broad daylight.
Police were called to Westminster Crescent in Shotton just after 9.05am this morning.
Officers say they are investigating reports of an assault whereby a man sustained a “wound” but could not confirm whether or not it was a stabbing.
Crime scene investigators remain at the address and police tape has been put around the entrance of a property.
The victim was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with injuries not said to be life-threatening.
One eye witness said: “Police were surrounding the street and searching for something used in the crime.
“People were saying it was a knife crime against a very well built man.
“He apparently crawled to a near my house for safety where he was found covered in blood.”
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “A male and female have been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
“The victim has been taken to the Countess with non- life threatening injuries.”
UPDATE: 12:05 PM North Wales Police confirm a third person, another male, has been arrested in connection with the wounding incident in Shotton
