TWO Carmarthenshire police officers have appeared in the dock charged with misconduct in a judicial or public office.
Stephen Greensmyth, aged 54, of Bro Celynin, Bronwydd, Carmarthen, and 37-year-old Rhys Thomas James, of Crychiau, Abergwili, were serving Dyfed-Powys Police officers at the time of the alleged offences last June, but are currently suspended from duty.
James pleaded not guilty to a charge of misconducting himself by supplying Class B drugs to another; no charge was not put to Greensmyth and no plea was entered by the defendant.
Matters at Swansea Crown Court were adjourned for a further hearing on September 9, and both men were granted bail on condition that they do not contact named prosecution witnesses in the case.
