Ashley Jones, Robert Bridgewater and Toby Humphries given prison terms over burglaries, taking vehicle and blackmail
Ashley Jones, Robert Bridgewater and Toby Humphries were all sent down for their part in a wave of criminality that included burglaries and stealing a car.
One of the trio was also found guilty of blackmail at Caernarfon crown court today.
Humphries, aged 23, received a 67-week term for burglary, taking a conveyance and blackmail.
Ashley Jones, 26, was locked up for 76 weeks for burglary, taking a conveyance and burgling a domestic property.
The third of the group, Robert Bridgewater, aged 21, received a 12-week sentence for affray.
North Wales Police said the three had been “intent on disrupting the lives of law-abiding citizens”.
Detective Inspector Gerwyn Thomas said: “It is important the Criminal Justice System imposes custodial sentences on those people in our communities intent on disrupting the lives of the vast majority of law abiding citizens.
“Following a series of offences committed over just one night local Police took swift action resulting in the early arrest of all offenders.
“I’m sure their conviction will bring relief and reassurance to communities in south Gwynedd and reinforce our commitment in keeping our everyone safe.”
