These are the horrific injuries a lamb sustained after it was attacked by a dog.
The lamb was set upon by a husky on Wednesday at Henllys Farm on the Sychnant Pass,Conwy, and was left with four puncture wounds to it’s neck and shoulders.
Two people walking their dog along the path witnessed the attack and said the husky was with three men in a green car.
Farmer Bryn Roberts said his lamb is still alive at the moment but admitted “it’s not looking good”.
He said: “I wasn’t there at the time of the attack, but the two people who witnessed it managed to get the sheep to the nearest farm.
“Apparently the dog was on a lead, but it was the two witnesses that had to get the husky off the lamb. The owners just got in their car and drove away.
“The lamb has four puncture wounds to its neck and shoulder after the attack, and it’s not doing great.”
North Wales Police confirmed that they are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses.
Sergeant Rob Taylor, North Wales Rural Crime Team manager, said he is looking in to the case but says there is “very little information” from those involved.
