Reports senior member of staff suspended over incident at national headquarters of British Association for Shooting and Conservation - of which Prince Philip is patron

Police were called to an incident at a gun club in Rossett .
An altercation was reported at the main office for the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) in the Wrexham village on Thursday.
North Wales Police were called at roughly 5pm on Thursday after an argument between staff members threatened to get out of hand.
The incident is thought to relate to staffing levels at the society.
The Daily Post understands a senior member of staff at BASC has been suspended following the incident.
A spokesman for BASC said: “There are issues relating to staffing at BASC and to protect people’s rights we are not able to say any more at this time.
“Uninformed speculation risks damaging shooting and BASC.
“We will release a further statement once proper proceedings have been followed and completed.”
A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “We were called by staff at BASC at around 5.00pm.
“There was concern that there might be a breach of the peace regarding a civil matter.
“Officers attended and the matter was resolved.”
The BASC is based at Marford Mill in Rossett.
It is Britain’s biggest shooting organisation with a membership of over 144,500.
There are currently 110 people working for BASC across the country.
The patron is the Duke of Edinburgh and its key aim is “a strong and unified voice for shooting”.
