A DRUNKEN mother of two involved in a late night rumpus outside a town centre pub was ordered to pay £260 in fines and costs.
Jodie Louise Evans, 30, of Grange Road, Colwyn Bay, pleaded guilty to threatening behavior, assault with intent to resist arrest, and damaging a police baton holder in a struggle.
James Neary, prosecuting at Llandudno court, said police had been called after a CCTV operator spotted a group of women fighting outside the Royal pub, from which she’d been ejected. Evans had told police later that she’d been to Rhyl that night with friends and had stopped at various pubs on the way back to Colwyn Bay.
Graham Parry, defending, said she very much regretted what had happened. Earlier that week she had been in hospital with blood poisoning caused by a virus. “Going out drinking while on medication is not the best of choices,” he added.
