A MAN was robbed of his watch and cash as he walked through a play area.
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after the man was robbed in the early hours of Saturday morning in Wrexham.
The victim was walking across the play area at the rear of Pont Wen, Whitegate, Wrexham at 4.45am on Saturday when he saw three males all in their late teens.
He walked past the youths and was then hit from behind with what is believed to be a wooden stick.
One of the offenders demanded money and he handed over a small amount of cash and his watch.
The victim was treated at Wrexham Maelor hospital for a minor injury to his head.
The offenders are described as 17 to 19 years old and of thin build.
One was wearing a light coloured hooded top and one was wearing a dark hooded top.
Detective Sergeant Roz Hewitt said: “Anyone with any information should contact North Wales Police on 101 and quote reference U076989 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
