AN Anglesey villager admitted breaching a sexual offences prevention order by deleting his web browser history.
Nicholas Walker, 47, of Maes Llewelyn, Aberffraw, had received the order in September 2012 at Caernarfon crown court.
But prosecutor Diane Williams told magistrates at Llandudno on Thursday, where he appeared in custody, that examination of a computer showed there had been a browser installed which helped to protect anonymity while using the internet, and the browsing history wasn’t kept.
“He’s clearly in contravention of a prevention order placed for the protection of the public,” she added.
Deborah Davies, defending Walker, said: ”He’s deeply ashamed of his behaviour.”
He accepted what he’d done was wrong.
The solicitor made no application for bail.
The magistrates remanded Walker in custody to be sentenced at Caernarfon crown court later this month.
