Firefighters were called out five times last night to deal with a spate of deliberate fires.
A number of the incidents were in Wrexham, including a gorse fire which was started deliberately in Gwersyllt.
The fire service was called at about 10.10pm after five square metres of gorse was set alight.
Firefighters were later called to a fire in an old bath full of rubbish which was started deliberately in Gwenfor in Caia Park.
A crew from Wrexham attended, but found the fire was out on arrival.
Discarded furniture on Queensway in Caia Park was later set alight deliberately, with one unit from Wrexham dealing with the blaze.
Shortly before midnight, a caravan in Cwm Prysor in Snowdonia was completely destroyed by a deliberate fire.
One crew from Bala and an off-road vehicle from Blaenau Ffestiniog failed to save it.
A car fire was also started deliberately on Hazel Avenue in Gwersyllt.
One hose reel was called at 12.46am to deal with the blaze, which damaged the engine compartment of the vehicle.
The fire service was also called to an accidental house fire in Connah’s Quay.
An unattended grill pan started the blaze, which caused 50% damage to the cooker and smoke damage to the house.
The fire was out when the crew from Deeside arrived at the scene.
One man was checked over by ambulance crews but did not need hospital treatment.
