A young dad suffered serious injuries after being bottled as he walked down the street with his partner and baby.
The family had been making their way down Winchester Drive in Prestatyn at around 6.40pm last night when two teenagers launched the unprovoked attack.
A glass bottle was used and the 22-year-old victim was also kicked and stamped on.
The attackers are described as white, of medium build, around 5ft 9” tall and around 17 years old.
One was wearing a black jacket, backpack, and had short strawberry blonde hair with a spacer in his ear lobe.
The other had blue denim skinny jeans and has black hair described as wavy on top.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
DS Mark Doyle from St Asaph CID said: “A 22-year-old local man was walking in Winchester Drive, Prestatyn with his partner and baby when he was attacked by two men who had been passing on the street. “A bottle is believed to have been used against the victim in addition to being kicked and stamped on.
“Although serious, his injuries are fortunately not life threatening or changing but this was an unprovoked attack which was very distressing for both victim and his partner.”
He added: “If you were in the area at the time, know anything about this or recognise the description please contact North Wales Police and help us identify those responsible.”
