A man has appeared in court following an incident in Flintshire over the weekend.
Vincent Bell, 26, was arrested after allegedly using a sword to attack a car driven by woman in Sandy Lane, Garden City , during the early hours of Sunday morning.
Bell, of Edwards’ Court, Manchester, was charged with affray, criminal damage and breaching an order following the incident on Saturday.
He admitted the damage charge but denied the other charges.
At a special bank holiday sitting of Flintshire magistrates’ court at Mold his solicitor Brian Cross applied for bail.
He said that his client could live at the Manchester address and be subject to conditions not to approach the woman or go near her home address.
But he was remanded in custody in the meantime for a trial date to be fixed.
