A 60-year-old Cardiff man is to be extradited back to the UK after being arrested in Germany.
Gwent Police said the man was arrested last Friday in Hamburg on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap.
The arrest comes as part of Operation Imperial, a long-running anti-slavery investigation into serious offences against vulnerable adults.
A spokeswoman for Gwent Police said: "On Friday, August 12, a 60-year-old man from Cardiff was arrested in Hamburg on suspicion of conspiracy to kidnap. He will now be extradited to the UK."
Extradition could take up to six weeks.
