The Welsh Ambulance Service has confirmed that one person has been taken to hospital
Forensic teams from North Wales Police have been spotted at a property in Flintshire this morning.
The police have confirmed an early-morning “incident” has taken place but refused to comment any further.
Investigators in protective clothing have been seen at the property in Bridge View, Garden City , Deeside.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman: “We were called to a property at Garden City,Deeside , at 3.40am this morning.
“We took a casualty to the Countess of Chester Hospital.”
An onlooker told the Daily Post: “There is a heavy police presence, I saw maybe six police cars and forensics teams.
“The house is boarded up, I hope nothing really bad has happened.”
Flintshire councillor Christine Jones said: "It's the first I've heard of this incident.
"But I do hope that whoever has been involved is ok. It's shocking to hear there was such a heavy police presence in the area, and forensics teams."
