The boy was punched repeatedly in the head at Ty Mawr in Towyn

A young boy was attacked by a teenage Liverpool fan while on holiday in Towyn.
The 12-year-old victim was punched in the head “a number of times” by the attacker, who was wearing a Liverpool FC shirt.
The distressing assault happened at Ty Mawr Caravan Park in Towyn yesterday.
PC Lynne Dunkley at Abergele Police Station said: “At about 3.10pm yesterday, Thursday August 26, a 12-year-old boy, on holiday in Towyn, was playing at the caravan park’s festival day, when he was attacked by another male youth and punched a number of times around the head.
“His injuries are fortunately minor but it was very distressing for both him and others attending the event.”
“The offender is white, medium build, and looks around 15-years-old.
“He was wearing a white cap, black and grey Liverpool FC strip and blue trainers.
“He had short, messy mousey-brown hair.
“If you were in the area at the time, know anything about this, or recognise the description please contact North Wales Police and help us identify those responsible.”
North Wales Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed events to contact them via the new web live chat quoting refernce RC16128282.
