Travellers have set up camp by the KFC and Premier Inn in Rhuddlan.
A convoy of caravans began to arrive on the town’s Morfa Triangle estate on Marsh Road last night, which also houses a Table Table restaurant.
Denbighshire Council is aware that travellers have moved on to the complex and has advised the nearby Premier Inn which owns the site.
The travellers are thought to have moved from Rhyl promenade where they pitched up by the town’s lifeboat station before moving over to the carpark of the Rhyl Pavilion.
A Denbighshire Council spokeswoman said: “We are aware of the travellers in Rhuddlan at the Premier Inn car park.
“As they are on private land this is matter for Premier Inn and we have spoken with the hotel chain and advised them on our position.”
Premier Inn have been asked to comment.
In Llandudno Junction earlier this week another group of travellers set up camp at a car showroom.
Premier Toyota manager Mark Claydon claimed they told him they could be gone in 10-15 minutes if they were paid.
Mr Claydon said after he rejected their call for money, things turned sour.
He praised two North Wales Police officers who stood calm in the face of "extreme provocation" before the visitors left the area at around 6pm on Monday.
He added: "We had someone on the door to welcome customers and keep the travellers out, so we didn’t let them in.
“Then the old man who appeared to be in charge said he wanted to speak to me.
“He said they could be gone in 10-15 minutes for a ‘donation’. I understood that to mean they wanted money.
“I told him in no uncertain terms that wasn’t going to happen. Then it started to get unpleasant.”
Mr Claydon said the group then parked cars parked outside, blocking the showroom doors and playing music “as loud as possible”.
“They became louder and more abusive so we called the police,” he continued. “I really want to pay tribute to the police – they were fantastic.”
