A man has been charged in connection with a spate of car key burglaries across Prestatyn, Rhyl and Abergele.
The 28-year-old appeared in court today, Monday 22nd August, and has been remanded after a vehicle stolen over the weekend, was recovered in Prestatyn.
Detective Inspectors Iwan Roberts said: “Over the past two months various cars have been stolen off the drives of properties in Prestatyn, Rhyl and Abergele, with the latest incidents happening last weekend, where three high value cars were taken.”
“In each incident the offenders have managed to gain access to the car keys and I want to reinforce the message that people need to keep doors and windows locked and to keep car keys out of sight.”
He added: “I also want to take this opportunity to encourage people to report any vehicles which may be parked in a suspicious manner to contact police on 101
