A PRESTATYN Sports player was arrested after their match at Llanllyfni was abandoned due to violence.
The Welsh Alliance Division Two clash was halted just before half time with the hosts 2-1 up due to a number of altercations between players and supporters.
Llan player Sion Hughes was taken to hospital with injuries following the clash.
North Wales Police also attended the scene, where eyewitnesses saw supporters enter the pitch and begin fighting with players from both sides.
It is understood that Hughes is currently undergoing assessment at Ysbyty Gwynedd and more information on his condition is set to be revealed in the near future.
