Swansea,South Wales - Visitor offered oral sex and attacked in car park 'honey trap' near Swansea train station

Joshua Cullen was sentenced to 24 months at Swansea Crown Court
A WEEKEND visitor to Swansea was offered oral sex in a car park then attacked in a "robbery gone wrong", a court has heard.
The victim, who had come to the city from Ireland for a short break, had left his hotel just after midnight in search of a food when he fell into the clutches of Joshua Cullen and a woman.
Swansea Crown Court heard a witness saw Cullen, the female and another man watching the visitor and apparently "hatching a plan" near the junction of Alexandra Road and Orchard Street.
Catherine Richards, for the prosecution, said the woman then approached the Irishman and made "sexual advances" towards him and kissed him before taking him to the Mariner Street car park opposite High Street station and performing oral sex on him.
Cullen followed the pair to the car park and approached them while the victim was "distracted" and shouted "Hey! That's my woman" before punching him in the face. The court heard the defendant was holding a bottle of beer in his hand at the time, but it is not known whether the bottle came into contact with the victim's face.
Cullen and the woman then ran off, leaving the Grand Hotel guest in "tremendous pain and completely disorientated".
The court heard the witness who had seen the incident flagged down a passing police car and told the officers what had happened — Cullen and the woman were found by officers following a search of the area.
The pair initially claimed the woman had been sexually assaulted and the man who had been punched was arrested before the truth emerged.
The court heard the victim suffered a broken nose in the attack, and will be left with a permanent scar.
Cullen, aged 23, now of Rugby Avenue, Neath, pleaded guilty to assault occasioning grievous bodily when he appeared in the dock.
The court heard he has past convictions for affray, possessing offensive weapons, criminal damage, public order matters, burglaries, possession of drugs, harassment, and robberies including one in 2013 for which he was sentenced to four years custody and for which he was out of jail on licence when he committed the April attack.
Andrew Evans, for Cullen, said his client had been out of prison and out trouble for six months prior to the car park assault.
He said Cullen had moved to Neath after his release from jail, and was in a relationship with a woman who had been a "positive influence" on him.
The advocate added: "Returning to Swansea that night was his downfall — he came into contact with old associates.
"If he had returned to Neath he would not be here today."
Judge Peter Heywood told Cullen he had a bad record for violence.
He said the incident showed "a degree of planning" and had "all the hallmarks of a robbery that goes wrong".
Cullen was sentenced to 24 months in prison.
The judge expressed his surprise that the woman involved in the incident had not been charged by the police.
