Two men had to be taken to hospital after being attacked in the street in Flint .
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after the two men, aged in their mid-20s, were assaulted in Chester Street on Saturday at 8.40pm.
Police and paramedics attended the scene, near The Tradesman Arms pub, and the victims were taken to Ysbyty Glan Clywd by ambulance.
Fortunately, their injuries are not life-threatening.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “At approximately 8.40pm on Saturday August 20, North Wales Police were alerted that two men had been assaulted in Chester Road, Flint, resulting in both sustaining injuries that are fortunately not serious.
“The men, aged in their mid-20s and local were treated at a local hospital and police are appealing for witnesses.
“Anyone who has any information should call North Wales Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting reference number RC1615553.”
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We were called at about 9pm on Saturday 21st August to reports that two men had been assaulted on Chester Road in Flint.
“An emergency ambulance attended the scene and two males were taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with non-life-threatening injuries.”
