A 60-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of public order offences and damage after stand-off which closed High Street for more than an hour

Officers have arrested a 60-year-old man on suspicion of public order and damage offences after a stand-off which lasted more than an hour.
A section of High Street and Wepre Drive was also closed off for more than an hour – with buses also being unable to travel through the town.
More than 30 people gathered on the streets to watch the incident unfold, with residents and shoppers describing the scene as “very scary”.
One woman said: “I saw a man come in and out of the funeral directors and he was waving his arms around and talking to the police.
“There were loads of police here and they stopped all the traffic including the buses.”
Eyewitness Shaun Fisher added: “I heard about it on Facebook and I came down but you don’t expect to see it around here.
“You hear of all this bad stuff going on in the world but it’s quite scary when it happens where you live.”
After the man’s arrest police recovered a large knife from the Motorworld business.
The road re-opened at 11.15am.
North Wales Police tweeted thanking members of the public for their patience.
