POLICE have recovered £85,000-worth of crack cocaine, heroin and amphetamine in a raid on a Cardiff house today.
Three people were arrested at the property in Caldy Road, Gabalfa, during the swoop, and officers also recovered a quantity of cash.
The suspects - two women, aged 35 and 26, and a 31-year-old man - are currently in custody at Cardiff Bay police station.
South Wales Police detective inspector Dean Taylor said he wanted to thank people in the local community for coming forward with vital information.
He said: "This was another very successful drugs warrant by the divisional organised crime unit, which has resulted in a significant quantity of drugs being seized in Cardiff.
"I would like to thank the local community for providing us with information which has resulted in these arrests.
"We will continue to act on the information which the communities of Cardiff continue to provide us. This operation has meant that a quantity of drugs and cash are kept off the streets of the capital."
