Firefighter were this morning tackling a gorse blaze in Gwynedd.
Crews were called out late last night to the blaze on headland between Abersoch and Llanbedrog.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said 1,000 square metres of gorse was alight.
Two crews returned to the scene today and were continuing to battle the flames.
Chloe Foster tweeted just before 2am saying it was the biggest fire in Abersoch she had ever seen.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We are currently in attendance to a gorse fire in Abersoch.
“We attended a fire involving 1,000 sq m of gorse on headland by Llanbedrog last night.
“Two fire engines have returned to the scene again this morning and remain in place.”
