Arsonists targeted a house in Flintshire during the early hours of this morning.
Luckily no one was injured during the attack on the house in Shotton .
Two fire engines from Buckley and Deeside were sent to the scene at Allan’s Close to tackle the flames.
The emergency services were called at 1.55am after the annexe of the house was set ablaze.
According to fire chiefs the annexe was completely destroyed.
Flames did not spread to the main part of the house.
The fire was out at 2.44am.
An investigation by North Wales Fire and Rescue has concluded the fire was started deliberately.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “The fire was started by deliberate ignition.
“There were no casualties.
“One hose reel was used, and two breathing apparatus.“
