The authorities are expected to serve notice to leave today

A group of travellers who have set up a camp at a park in a Cardiff suburb remain there this morning.
It is understood that Cardiff council will serve them notice to leave today.
Around a dozen caravans arrived on Rhiwbina's Caedelyn Park on Thursday afternoon.
Residents are already calling for the park to be blocked off to vehicles.
The issue was raised at last night's Cardiff council meeting.
Rhiwbina councillors Jayne Cowan, Adrian Robson and Eleanor Sanders discussed the issued with Chief Executive Paul Orders.
Coun Cowan, a Conservative councillor, said that there had been a number of reports of movement around the park overnight with vehicles driving around the park but no issues regarding anti-social behaviour had been reported to her.
She has told residents she expects the council to issue a notice to leave on the travellers today.

Residents reported seeing vehicles "circling recklessly" around the site.

Cabinet member Susan Elsmore, said: “The council has an “Unauthorised Encampment Protocol” in place which includes various agencies who assist when unauthorised encampments occur in Cardiff. This process has been initiated with regards to the reported encampment located at Caedelyn Park.

“Officers have attended the site and will report their findings back to the co-ordinator who will then initiate the correct proceedings to resolve this issue."
