Police investigate 'accidental' Buckley shooting

Officers taped off a home in Fraser Drive for several hours following the firearms incident.

Police are investigating after a gun was reportedly fired by accident at a house in Flintshire.
Emergency services swarmed on the house in Fraser Drive in Buckley in the early hours of this morning following the incident.
According to residents, up to five police vehicles attended the property, with police remaining in place for several hours.
It is not known if anyone was injured, but two ambulances are believed to have attended the scene.
Eyewitnesses told the Daily Post that police taped off the property and officers were guarding the home as forensic teams investigated.
North Wales Police have seized the firearm involved and are investigating the incident.
A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: “Police are investigating reports of suspected accidental discharge of a firearm inside a residential property in Buckley.
“The weapon has been recovered and seized by police.
“An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident has been initiated.”
