Llandudno,North Wales - Man Tasered by police being treated in Stoke hospital after 'condition deteriorates'

Let's hope blame does not fall on the police here, The fault lies with the person at the scene of the crime,and how else are the Police supposed to manage a crime hotspot? Clearly they would have tried negotiation, so the police should continue to use Tasers, maybe people should alter their behaviour so that the police don't need to be called?

North Wales Police have referred themselves to the Independent Police Complaints Commission over the incident

A man who was Tasered by police during a domestic incident has been taken to a hospital in Stoke for treatment after his “condition deteriorated” during the night.
North Wales Police have referred themselves to the Independent Police Complaints Commission over the incident, which happened in the Bryniau Road area of Llandudno at around 10.15pm last night.
the force said it was called to a domestic incident at the property and that a 24 year-old local man was in possession of a knife.
A North Wales Police spokesman said: “During a confrontation with officers a Taser was discharged and the man fell sustaining a head injury.
“He was treated by officers and paramedics at the scene and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
“Unfortunately his condition deteriorated during the night and he is currently being treated in hospital in Stoke.
“North Wales Police have voluntarily referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.”
