An investigation is under way after two buses were set on fire during an arson attack at a depot.
A joint investigation has now been launched by North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service after a double decker and single decker bus were "deliberately set alight" in Pwllheli on Saturday, July 16.
Three fire crews were called to Glandon Garage on Caernarfon Road at 2.30am after residents heard an “explosion” during the night and raised the alarm.
Inspector Dewi Jones said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Glandon Garage on Caernarfon Road between 1.30am and 2.30am on Saturday or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area.”
Crews from Pwllheli, Porthmadog and Nefyn spent more than an hour tackling the flames.
According to North Wales Fire service, the double decker bus was destroyed, with a single decker bus receiving 70% fire damage.
Both buses belonged to Arriva transport company.
Anyone with information relating to the fire is asked to call PC100 Carwyn Tomos at Pwllheli Police Station on 101.
