A LLANELLI woman used a chair to damage a car during a dispute with a neighbour, a court has heard.
Kay Lewis, of Felinfoel, previously pleaded guilty at Llanelli Magistrates' Court to a charge of criminal damage to a motor vehicle belonging to Rhian John.
The 55-year-old, of Danycwm, denies a separate charge of assaulting Ms John.
The court heard on November 21 last year, Lewis was part of an argument with neighbours where police attended and managed to split the group up.

But after officers left, the dispute flared up again, and Lewis, arming herself with a chair, caused damage to a car windscreen, the court heard.
Mitigating, Peter Rhys Jones said: "She has admitted causing damage to a car in the course of a neighbourhood argument but denies assault.
"She says there was a verbal argument because of the history between two families but denies assault."
Lewis will now face trial in August.
Until then, she has been given unconditional bail.
